What is all the fuss about these wallets you might wonder!?

We are obviously not talking about your favorite leather wallet that you've been carrying around for years.

We are talking digital here – digital wallets.

These new pieces of technology appeared along with the rise of cryptocurrencies.

There are two types of digital wallets:

  1. Hot wallets

  2. Cold wallets

Although #2 is well worth writing about, this section is about hot wallets, what they are, how to use them on Nested and which ones do we accept.

Hot wallets are like digital vaults that you own.

It has a unique address and enables you to interact financially with various web3 applications.

You can send, receive or store cryptocurrencies and use them as you wish with the platforms that accept both your wallet and the cryptocurrency you wish to use.

Without getting into too much technical details, this is basically how it works.
